Saturday 28 November saw the second of three Club Bonspiels. Again it was a capacity entry with 12 clubs on the ice. Aberdeen won their first two games beating Laurencekirk and then Rotary. The final match against Petroleum would decide the Bonspiel winner. It was a closely fought game but unfortunately Aberdeen were narrowly beaten and as a result finished in fifth position overall but 8 points were earned added to our total.

With 3 wins Peter Knoll, Ian Mckay, Jill Johnston
and Neil Paterson lifted the first silverware of
the season and a bottle of wine each. Ian Ingram, Cara
Morrison, Katrina Beaton, Ru Macdonald and Richard Morrison were runners up, also with 3 wins.
curling 18 members stayed on for Steak Pie and Sticky Toffee pudding preceeded by the
presentation of the trophy and prizes.
